How is rhinoplasty different for men and women?

Generally speaking, the procedure is different for every individual. It all depends on the facial structure of the patient, whether man or woman. However, the standards on what a natural-looking nose looks like are different for men and women. Before having a rhinoplasty in Delaware, you should be mindful of these.

nasolabial-angle
For men, because of their larger bone structure, their noses are preferred to look stronger, and slightly longer as compared to the women. The normal nasolabial angle is actually based on a specific mathematical analysis. It ranges from 90 to 120 degrees. For women, what’s preferred is a slightly bigger angle within the range, and for men, a slightly smaller angle.

nasofrontal-angle
The nasofrontal angle also has a normal range. It should be 115 to 130 degrees. Again, slightly larger is preferred for women, and slightly smaller is for men.

But again, the result of the rhinoplasty in Delaware, whether for men or women, should compliment and complement the other facial features. Consult your surgeon to determine whether your expectations are realistic or not. Just because there are standard angles, it doesn’t always follow that you will look perfect following them.
